headers and emissions Lately ive been trying to decide on what headers to buy and im torn between Jet Hot, and QTP. Which one has the biggest horse power gains? Aslo is there any where i can get these qtp 's cheeper than 725? I also have a 2000 ss nearly stock and i want to do the ls6 manifold but i realy havent heard anything about it besides i will have to get rid of my egr and emissions. So can anyone help me?
The QTP's are built much better than the JetHot's. They use 304 stainless steel and do not need coated. The JetHot's have a greater chance on leaking at the flange. The QTP's fit much better and the Y-Pipe does not bang the floorboard. If you have a A4, you can drop the transmission without removing the exhaust. QTP's come with the AIR/EGR fittings for an additional $75. If you are getting the LS6 Intake, I would get the Race Headers. That is what I did and give a little more room in the engine bay.
