AIR Melts through my A/C
My AIR system got a bit too close to my A/C tube (the one that goes to the front) (funny that it never had heat sheilding on it either) and not only welded itself to the ac tube, but it went completely into it.
Found out today when I turned on my A/C and heard a loud hiss and smoke poured out of my hood. that must be real good (the a/c fluid spray) for my already rusting "coated" headers. just terrific. A/C system now has been contaminated and will probably cost some big $$$. Well, out with the AIR and EGR - After the A/C is fixed, I won't let the car out of the shop until I rip out that bastard system. May as well get the EGR taken out too as that's doing me no good.
Last thing (i hope) to have my headers finally fixed is to solve the y-pipe (pacesetter) banging problem. How can I modify the y-pipe in a way so it doesn't touch? New band clamps will also help me out here (leaky)
After that, it's onto the stereo and the power window motors. Now I see why people say it's so expensive to own such a wonderful car...
