Quick exhaust question. I'm thinking of cutting the slowmaster off my car and running a Y pipe after the cat, striaght to the back.
Other than making my car obsenly loud (what im goin for
) i was wondering if this would hurt performance, or the engine any. (backpressure, etc).
Any advice.
BTW: I was thinking of doing 3inch pipes from the cat to the back.

What you are talking about is no different than having a cutout. If I were you, I'd just get one of those so you can cap it off whenever you might need to (as in the cops not liking it).
i did this after ditching my flowmaster. It is a mimic of the loudmouth. I had the dynomouth this way and ti was too loud and raspy with my Mac mids and ORY so i put on a Borla XR-1 40085 and it sounds exactly like I want it to now.
