Default TSP Rumbler or LM??

I'm getting ready to get some exhaust for my 99 Hawk. I know the SLP dual/dual flows well, but I want a LOUD car. I've heard the LM in person but don't like the drone you can get. How does the TSP Rumbler comapre? What will give the most hp gains? And finally, possible headers in the future, most likely Mac mid-lengths with Cats. Which will go best with this? Thanks for all the help.

I had the rumbler and loved it. Loved the tone and it wasn't raspy or loudmouthy at all. It's just a straight-thru muffler so it flows pretty good. I loved it, but the Jet-hots went on and I decided to go with true duals.

Do the Rumbler or True Duals, the LM is okay for a cheap exhaust but these two simply kick *** in the sound and flow department and sound even better with LT's, where as the LM sounds like *** with LT's.

I've got the duals and they sound great, nice and deep, rolling thunder type of loud..

How would the TSP duals sound on stock cats and manifolds? I can't get headers yet, so in the meantime stock is all I have to work with.

As long as you have access to a sawzall to cut the stock exhaust off, yeah, it's pretty easy. Just clamps together...

the rumbler is geat.. I went with that for my car. Picked it up on the holiday special with no exhaust tips. I'm very happy with it. with stock manifolds and cats at idle its actually real quiet but lean into it and it sounds great. Plus it installs easy.

I pulled off my stock exhuast in one piece. you have to take off the pass side wheel, shock, control arm, sway bar. Then you can just work the stock exhaust off the car going through the wheel well and sneaking it around the axle. you have to have a good amount of space around the passenger side of the car to do it too.

What about the new LM II with the inline bullet muffler? For an extra 75$ and you get SS instead of aluminized steel. Plus I like the Tips better than TSP's. I am ordering mine tomorrow.

The Dual/Dual sounds great with an offroad y-pipe and headers. That'd be my suggestion (from experience).

previous owner of my car didn't drive it in the winter so the exhaust was still pretty shiney and rust free. so I had someone that offered me $125 for the exhaust in one piece. thats why I kept it all together.
