Default 450 Horsepower???

Is it possible to get 450 horsepower out of strickly bolt ons?? If so, what is the best way of going about getting it?? I am looking at cam, intake, throttle body, etc!!

No way. But you said cam, and that is not considered a bolt on. For 450 rwhp you're going to need cam/heads, all the bolt ons and a dyno friendly drive train.
Or you could spray your way to 450 hp pretty easily.

It might be possible with a very aggresive heads/cam setup and a radical tune, with ALL of the bolt-on's.

You need to go bigger cubes if you want that kinda power naturally aspirated, otherwise.

This board is seriously hard-core. We have resorted to considering head and cam swaps as bolt-ons. I think the only thing we don't consider a bolt-on is a stroker engine. LOL.

no ****

though the general consenus is

bolt on = stock interenaled
cam only = bolt ons plus cam
h/c = bolt ons, cam, heads

450hp and i assume thats crank equals 380rwhp w/ an m6. thats on the raggeed edge of possibility but 360-370rwhp is usually the max.

Just what I was thinking. Everything is bolted on! But seriously you need an aggressive H&C package.

I guess if you went with a supercharger 450 would be an easy target, and I consider that a bolt-on. It's just the ultimate bolt-on.

I have heard of a cam only ls1 making 430rwhp.... has to be a brutal cam, but ive heard of it, i have no proof, but lloyd elliot claims that with h/c and bolt ons some of his kits will give in the low-mid 400rwhp.... that is with good tuning for sure

Frankly, with all bolt ons you won't hit 450rwhp. Some H/C people even have trouble hitting 450 rwhp.
