Default magnaflo catted y vs ory

Will my car be a lot louder if I change from my catted y to ORY. I know cops look at us (camaro's firebird's vette's) anyway just waiting for us to break the tires loose. But I don't want them to be able to hear me coming from any further away then they already will with the new heads and cam that are going in this spring but I want the extra 10-15 hoarses.

Yes, it will be louder.

If you want the ponies you may as well go for it. I'd suggest sticking a bullet muffler in your I-pipe if you do.

Yes it will be louder. I don't think it will be a problem only if you are able to control yourself on the streets. No driving like a maniac all the time.

It will def. be louder, but still not too loud to attract a lot of extra attention. I like how my exhaust sounds although there is some rasp at certain rpms. At idle, cruise, and wot it sounds great though.

will the bullet in the i pipe really kill the rasp associated with lt's and ory?? i was thinkin of getting a pair of high flow cats but if i can get away with just throwin a bullet into the i pipe and achieve the same thing w/o sacrificing hp, then i will.

A bullet in the I-pipe is a pretty common cure for rasp. Most people report that it greatly reduces/eliminates it. I'm only running a cat-back but that's what I have read on here.
