I work at OReilly's and I have seen it all. My car was making a squeeking sound from the pulleys at idle that drove me up the wall. I pulled the belt off ,which was the original, and installed a Gates belt. This is our top of the line. I pull a GM/Dayco junker belt off. The Gates stopped the squeeking. Gatorbacks tend to have squeeking problems later on. Armor Mark belts are just a standard base line belt with usually a 90day warrenty. My girlfriends Dad owned a Carquest long ago and had bought a Gates Garden hose. It has lasted 20 years with out a leak. Gates radiator hoses are very good too. Gates also has clampless hose shrink. More for show cars though.

I used the Gates heat-shrink clamps on my Syclone...they work well and look very sweet...FWIW.
