Intake leak or Maf?

Default Intake leak or Maf?

I did the LS6 intake swap saturday. I didn't disconnect the egr, I just cut the tubing going to the intake. The car started right up no problems and no SES. The next day will driving around the car felt kind of weird. I was going about 50 and if I gave it gas it felt like it wanted to die but didn"t. After that I got the SES P0102 and P0401. The car would idle a little rough but not bad. So I rest the PCM and the SES were gone. I even had some fun with a S2000 about five runs, and I ran the car hard and no SES. SO to day I got the SES again but this time the car died and would not start. I disconnected the MAf and drove it home. If I had an air leak how would i find it.

You could always use the "carb cleaner" method where you just spray it around all sides of the intake and your TB while its running, and if it stumbles, the car is pulling in air from wherever you were just spraying.

Did you replace the intake gaskets? We usually replace those when doing an intake swap. Some have been burned by trying to re-use the old gaskets. But if you unpluged your MAF then if drove fine I would think there is a problem with the MAF. Speed Density Rules...

I'm going to cheak for a leak just to be sure. No I didn't replace the gaskets I thought they were reuseable. I'm thinking it might be the MAF because the car is not accelerated like when theres a leak and it should have started to leaking from the being right?.

Tried that but could not find any leaks, but I couldn't reach the rear of the intake very well, so I decided to take it to the car wash and use the soak setting. That would work too right? Sprayed it all over to see maybe a hose was loose and the car never stumbled. I guess the next place to look is the MAF?
