locating tach wire.

Ok i am about done with the tach install aside from the time i took take care of my hand after splicing it open. The thing is i know i need to tap into pin #10 but how do i know its #10 i didn't see any numbers or letters. Does any one have a diagram?

Look closer, there are numbers that correlate to the wire (at least from what I remember when I did mine). Check both on the computer side and on the connector side.

tach wire should be white ... set your meter to ac volts and it should go up and down with rpm if you want to check it

#'s are on the plastic above the wire. White wire. check out installuniversity.com

Thanks guys. I got it hooked up, man my facttory tack lags like crazy. The new one is much more accurate.
