Resetting it only resets the "learned" values that change constantly. It doesn't change the "tune".

Reflashing entails reprogramming the entire VCM with a new "tune", either stock or customized.

If the car is completely back to stock it couldn't hurt to have the dealer update/reflash it, but I'm guessing that's not where the problem is.

Check for cracked plugs or unsecured spark plug wires already ? Maybe one got the insulation cracked with the socket during the plug swap when you put the factory exhaust back on ? Just fishing for ideas...

Have you scanned it with a scan tool ? How do the fuel trims look ? A high fuel trim can indicate a vac leak.

Well my diablo predator has a "real time data" feature. I have no idea what i'm looking for though. It shows spark, o2 sensor stuff, temps, rpms, mph, and a bunch of other terms i have no idea about. If anybody is familiar with that and can tell me what to look for, lemme know. Otherwise i guess i'm gonna have to pay for a high tech diagnostic machine to check it out

do you have a custom tune on your predator for the headers or are you useing just the performance tune the predator came with? I would try to see if uploading the stock tune back in the car makes any difference.

i am running the stock tune now. I had a performance tune for the cam and boltons, now it is just bone stock.

mine used to do similar thing.... no power, backfiring, popping,..... this has happened twice to me...... One time it was a front o2 sensor, the other time, i changed my opti (distributor) wires, and it wasnt it..... turned out to be a hair line crack on one of my NGK plugs.... I spent like 250 dollars, and it turned out to be a $2.50 plug

I bet your car is fine, just that you have no Y- Pipe, which is causing the problem. The O2s arent heating up enough so they are making your car misfire.

Put a y pipe on there, and i bet it will make everything run smooth.
