You can do a search and get info on them both. I would say Kooks but you can look at QTP's as well. Good luck!

How did you find out what number your SS was? I have an 02SS and I am curoius as to how many they made in 02 and what number is mine.It is a 6m the color is sunset orange with t-tops black leather and has 30,000miles on it and runs great. Thanks for any input you may have.

Between Hookers and Kooks- Kooks. Hookers have had fitment issues, quite a bit actually. And I dont know about the SS hookers, but the regular ones, had the O2 bungs welded to the outisde of the header collector, causing problems. The Kooks are of the same design as the QTP's. I cant say for sure on the Kooks, but my QTP's are awesome. The welds are perfect. Where the welds protude into the primaries, or collector, those areas have been smoothed. I am sure the Kooks are the same. For headers, you pay for what you get.

Between Kooks and QTP's-which ever is cheaper.

FYI-stainless steel does not need to be coated.
