can you place a cutout on the driver side?

i recently put a cutout under the passenger seat love it, but was wondering if a 3 inch cutout would fit under the drivers seat to make the car a little louder. this is for a stock exhaust on a z28 2001.

well since u did it, then u would know that their is an i pipe on the passanger side and there isn't any piping on the drivers side except for they y pipe. lol

I think he's asking if he can put a cutout on the driver's side of the y-pipe. He said it's a stock y so I think it would be pretty difficult to put a cutout on that flattened portion of pipe. Just save up for some LT's and a y...the Pace setup cost around $500 for both.

you can do basically anything to the car...it's just "how hard will it be, how much will it cost, and how much will i sacrifice" you can do it...it would just take a pipe expander and you would lose quite a bit of ground clearance...prolly 2"..imo it's not worth it...
