yes you can...they are for emissions...i really don't know their exact purpose but they are not needed...that's why about 90% of people with headers delete them...if you live in a place that checks emission i would leave it...it will throw a code

they put air into your exhaust so your cats lite up quicker. its for emissions most people get rid of it. you can block them but u will throw a code
