Default Dyno Tune?

Do u need anything specific for a dyno tune? I'm getting a cam soon but i wanted to know if you can dyno tune your car stock?

There really is no point to dyno tuning a stock car. You might be able to pick up 5rwhp or so. However, a dyno tune after a cam install is a very good idea to help the car run better, behave better in traffic, and to get the most power out of the cam. You can usualy get about 10rwhp from a dyno tune, as well as knowing that your car is not running lean or rich.

The only stock LS1 a dyno tune would really benefit is an 04 GTO. Lots of opportunity there. However, in your case tune it after the cam. Hopefully your tuner does what we do. We tune for drivability then do the WOT tune, which is very, VERY nice...
