Default LSX Bolt Question

On the instructions it says to replace 10 valley plate bolts with the button head cap screws. For the life of me, I can't figure out what fluckin bolts they are talking about.

Also, has anyone had interference problems with the front crossover tube? The manifold will not sit all the way down on mine,

I just got my FAST and was wondering the same thing, the only thing I could come up with is the plate directly underneath the intake bolted to the block, it has 10 bolts in it??? Maybe that's why the intake won't sit all the way down. Since you already have an '01 with a LS6 intake the FAST should fit. Let us know how it goes.

For the FAST intake to seal properly you must remove the OEM bolts than hold the valley cover down and simply replace them with the rounded, black button bolts that come with the FAST intake. This allows the FAST intake to sit squarely on the cover for proper sealing to the heads.

what DrkPhx said. just pull the stockers and replace with the ones supplied by FAST. It allows it to sit lower.

No prob! Let us know how the swap turns out. I just finished mine and it made a good difference once the tune was ironed out. Yours made good power before and should be a monster with!

You will also have to push down on the cross over tube for the manifold to set down on the engine flush.
