Default QTP or McCord????

Which power plate should I order? Does anyone know the differences between the two besides the QTP one being $40 more? I don't want to waste my money on the expensive one if it is the same thing but I also don't want to get what I pay for by getting the cheaper one. Any help here?? Thanks!!

Get the QTP, its well-built and has metal gears inside of it which will last longer. Barry is also very supportive of our members. I've got a 3.5" QTEC on my car and it works/seals great.

I understand that QTP is a sponsor and all but what am I getting for $40 more?? I just don't see the difference between the two. Just like if you buy tires from company A all your life but company B is cheaper. Same product but different price. Do you switch to company B or remain loyal?? If it is the same product then $40 could go towards another mod, you know what I'm saying? I wish both sites would tell you why theirs is better!! Would make it easier on me!!

A friend of mine has a mccord and it sucks. Stripped the plastic gears twice.

What we really need is an electronics guru like Harlan to make a stepper motor controller for us.

I've seen brand new McCords strip in less than a week. The guys that I know with QTP's have had no problems.

The gears that keep it closed and open it. I know someone that had the mccord and during a wot run the gears broke and flapped loose, so after that the exhaust pressure would open it up even when u want it closed.

I had the McCord MPP2 and it lasted less than one week. I have the QTEC and have had no problem with it. I have opened it over 500 times and it seals like day one.

Yep, My McCord lasted less than a week before the exhaust heat just fried the gasket between the plates. Stripped gears, burned out motor.
So they sent me a new. That one last almost 2 weeks

Now I have a QTP which keeps on tick'in
