02 sensors and computer acting funny after header install
02 sensors and computer acting funny after header install i installed my headers last week. i also got a computer tune. the tuner said that the car would stumble and thow a ses light at first but that would go away. after i did the install and swaped the computers, there was no ses light and the car started up and ran normal. but my autometer air/fuel gauge wasnt reading. after driving the car for a few days i had to take it off the road to change one header gasket. i cut the wire going to my air/fuel gauge to see what it would do. after cutting it i started the car up, it stumbled, but didnt throw any codes. engine sounds a little differnt. is it possible that my computer took a week to reset and read off the 02 senors, and is it possible that my gauge was robbing the computer of the 02 sensor even knowing it wasnt working?
