All this work might not be worth it to fit the macs. I really want to buy them since i can get them for such a deal though.

NastySSoo, i notice that you have a 2000 car. How easy was the install? What did you do with the emissions stuff that needs to be "modified"? Thats if you havent ditched it, since i see you have quite the mod list.

Since I have had my macs there are alot more brands out there and the prices have came down alot. So in your case i would order a set of hookers and go that route. There is nothing wrong with mac headers but there are just more choices where you dont have to modify things to get them to work. I bought mine 2 years ago and still like them, great ground clearance over everything.

I did the airpump and egr delete on my car. I do agree that there are more options now. Ive been very pleased with my macs. NO issues with y pipes banging!!

Take a look at the vendors on the right hand side. They have aobut everything here is a link from Texas Speed. You can also do price matching from several vendors to get cheaper prices or match if shipping is higher priced.

Well i see that most headers are either listed 98-02 or 98-99 or 00-02. Wouldnt i have the same problems with the emissions piping?

I just finished installing Macs and ORY on my H/C car this weekend . All I can say is ****** WOW !!! The difference is amazing . So much for the idea that they arent any better than stock manifolds , because that was what I pulled off my car . Damn car runs like a raped ape now ! As soon as I get it tuned at the end of the month I will post up the dyno sheet so the nay sayers can see what a H/C car with macs can produce !

nice!!!! i wont be able to afford heads till i get my car paid for...but i plan on adding the LS6 Stage III package and i too have MAC ML'S

If you look under the Pacesetter headers its says with emission fittings meaning that if you have a 01-02 then use block off plates. If you have an 00 hooke the egr up
