Default Where is the heater core?

Not exactly a bolt-on question, but I would like to know where the heater core is located in the 4th gen F-bodies. Is it on the driver's side or passenger side or in the middle? Is it easily accessible or does the entire dash need disassembled to get to it? Can I see it without much disassembly to check if it is leaking a little bit (and causing a musty smell every time the car is driven)?

Thanks,

Fred

On the passenger side behind the glove box. Drain your coolant, pull the two hoses going back to the firewall, thats the hardest part. For me those hoses were pretty well stuck on there so I used a lighter and heated them up on they slid right off. Then pull your glove box out, take the cover off and you should see the core. Not the easiest part to change but just be patient.
