Default Magnaflow installed!

Finally installed my Magnaflow exhaust today after it had been sitting in my garage for a month and it sounds great. Installing it wasn't to bad I just backed it up onto my ramps and went at it. Getting to exhaust tips to sit correctly was probably the hardest part of the whole install. Car has mean deep sound to it now.

Yea...i still remember the day exactly when i installed it on my car. It had just a slightly deeper idle then stock but once you get the RPM's rising it's a lot better.

I remember when I first put mine on...I was a little disappointed b/c I didn't think it was very loud. I think it got better as I broke it in. With a cam, LT's, and ORY it's really nice!

At idle, it's a bit louder than stock. But have you gone WOT yet? Ooohhhh man, it was sweet. I couldn't stop getting on it after I first put my Magnaflow catback on.

Magnaflow mufflers get louder and deeper with age. Wait until you get a few thousand miles on it. You computor also needs a few hundred miles on it in order to adjust you timing and injection pulse widths to optain the max HP due to the free flowing exhaust. If you haven't switched air boxes to a free flowing one, you should, this combo sounds great at WOT

I installed mine yesterday and it does sound nice, especially at WOT!!!! I do have a leak in the muffler baffle that connects with the overaxle pipe. Did you weld, use the provided clamps or other clamps? Please help.

I did not have it welded. I used the clamps they provided. So far I have not had any leaks.

Yeah the Magnaflow sounds decent when you put it on, sounds awesome when you put some miles through it. I wonder how it sounds with headers and an ORY.

So its not impressive at idle unless you have a cam. Big deal. Leaving a person with a good sound clip in the ear after you pass them is the best

I just finished a Mac Midlength, ORY and Magnaflow install. I really thought it would be louder at Idle...Wot sound "Sweet".....I can't hear the exhaust at all while driving down the highway at 2000rpm which is an unexpected change...I guess i'll just have to uncap the cutout
