JetHot vs Pacesetter
Jet Hot has changed their design too. I have Jet Hots, the old design, and had to notch the K-member on the driver side and on the passenger one primary is to close to the heater box on mine. However, I've installed a few that needed no notching. Maybe I got a crapy set, and lacked the time and motivation to try and send them back...
Its not just your set. The jet hot headers come extremely close to the heater box. One member on here was gonna sell me a new set of jet hots that had been installed and taken off because they burned his heater box.
The jet headers are made well and go in easy.
Tke it from someone who has installed/removed both on 2 different cars. There is no reason to spend anymore for jet hots unless its just brand loyalty. Same thickness tubing, same thickness flange, same coatings, same ease of installation, same bung location, and almost same fitment but pacesetters maintain better clearance around the entire header.

Yea honestly if ur gonna spend in anymore money that what u would on pacesetter get stainless steel ones if not the extra cash isn't worth it. I love my pacesetters went it great and sound awesome. Blown headgaskets are prolly coming from using the header gaskets that they provided which are paper crap. Thats not the headers fault.

I figured the best fit was factory, so I went to the chevy dealership and got brand new ones from them. They worked excellent.
