Default where to put cutout?

heres what im thinkin of doing. i wanna put a cutout in the hooker catback im getting. but i dont know how i wanna do it. i was thinking of putting a bullet right behind the y pipe and then the cutout behind the bullet....so when i have the cutout open, it will be loud but still give a good sound at the same time....kinda like true duals with bullets. i just thought it might sound better than having the cutout open with nothing in front of it at all except for the y pipe. or i could just forget the bullet and install a cutout in the i pipe with no bullet and hope its not too obnoxious. any ideas/opinions/suggestions??

just get the cutout...the other idea you have is too much hastle and the cut out IMO is not that obnoxious... If you cutout is too anoying try open long tubes for 2 months(not by choice)

Just do the cutout. You'll be hard pressed to fit the bullet and cutout both after the Y.

Oh man. The Hooker flows just as good as a cut out. Tested it on a dyno. A cutout is a waste of money with a Hooker. If you don't believe me just unbolt the Hooker at the flange going into the muffler (3 9/16ths bolts and nuts). Do a before and after run at the track and/or on the dyno and then you'll beleive me. That's what I did. Virtually no difference.
