where to put cutout?

where to put cutout? heres what im thinkin of doing. i wanna put a cutout in the hooker catback im getting. but i dont know how i wanna do it. i was thinking of putting a bullet right behind the y pipe and then the cutout behind the bullet....so when i have the cutout open, it will be loud but still give a good sound at the same time....kinda like true duals with bullets. i just thought it might sound better than having the cutout open with nothing in front of it at all except for the y pipe. or i could just forget the bullet and install a cutout in the i pipe with no bullet and hope its not too obnoxious. any ideas/opinions/suggestions??
Oh man. The Hooker flows just as good as a cut out. Tested it on a dyno. A cutout is a waste of money with a Hooker. If you don't believe me just unbolt the Hooker at the flange going into the muffler (3 9/16ths bolts and nuts). Do a before and after run at the track and/or on the dyno and then you'll beleive me. That's what I did. Virtually no difference.
