Will 00 Headers & Intake Manifold Fit 99?

Will 00 Headers & Intake Manifold Fit 99? Hi,
I've got a friend with a lingenfelter intake rmanifold and BBK or Edelbrock shorty headers off his 2000 Z28. Will these parts fit on my 1999 Z28?
I think I remember hearing something that EGR will be the problem. If thats the case couldnt I just remove the EGR and then the parts would fit fine?
Oh and has anyone heard of a Lingenfelter Intake Manifold before? Is that something thats normally for sale to just anyone? Any idea what they normally go for?

how much is he selling you the intake for? the LPE flows the same as the ls6 intake. you also are probably gonna need the ls6 coolant tubes and plugs. if the headers are 00 specific then you will need to remove your egr or run the 00 egr tube. the air tubes are also different.
ok i did this when i put 00 headers on my wife's 99 formula. to retain EGR, you MUST get the 00 EGR tube. in 00 they moved the EGR tube location further back on the exhaust manifold. as far as the AIR tubes, i twisted them 90*. pics here http://www.stealthram.com/bassaniheadersinstall.html
