most compact water pump?

most compact water pump? I'm a little pressed for space with the mini swap and would like to know what the shortest water pump is out there for the LS1. I remember reading somewhere that the LS2 pump is shorter but don't have the article any more. Also, what is the overall length of the Meziere pump?
I just saw an article in GM High Tech magazine, they are coming out with, or came out with the ls4. It's a sidewinder v8 putting out a little over 300hp. Anyway, the waterpump is completely reworked, much more compact. I don't know if it will work, but it's worth looking in to. BTW, the motor goes in the pontiac grand prix gxp.
