Default Question about Flowtech cutout studs - problem with driver side cutout

I recently bought some QTP electric cutouts to bolt onto my flowtech cutouts. I have dual cutouts on a hooker y-pipe. My friend gave me this y-pipe wiht the cutouts to use. Now, the studs on these flowtech cutouts have been spot welded on. The QTEC is perfectly angled on the passenger side, but when I put it on the drivers side, the moor part hangs WAY low to the ground. When I turn it up, it hits the floorboard and won't go all the way up.

So, to the main question. Does anyone know if flowtech cutouts pre spot welds the studs? If not, can't you turn the studs some how to where I can get the motor part of the QTEC turned like the passenger side?

You could probably cut off the flange with the studs and rotate it a little to give you some clearance, then weld it back up. That might help.
