Default MSD 6A Ignition problem on 1st gen

I have a MSD 6A series ignition on my '69...this includes the MSD 6A unit, the Blaster 6 Coil, and the Electronic distributor cap (no points). Lately i've been experiencing starting problems. The car will start perfectly every time when started cold. But once it's warmed up, if I shut it down, it won't restart. The starter cranks like crazy, but the engine is definetly getting no spark. It fires a cylinder here and there, but when it does, it's out of sequence. Seems pretty obvious to me that it's the cap that is causing this. I'm just posting this here to see if anyone else with the same ignition has seen this problem. The system is only about 3 years old, and the car sees maybe 2000 miles a year, and is stored in a semi-heated garage. Seems to me that there's no reason there should be any problems with it yet.

Anyone?
