Default True Dual, X pipe question.

This is for my friend with a SS.

With Pacesetter LT, no cats, X pipe, into 4x9 magnaflows dumped before the axel.

Which way would be the CHEAPEST?

1) just a x pipe, let the exhaust shop fabricate the rest
2) a x pipe universal kit, (about 80 bucks more)

Also how loud would that be? He doesnt want it to be loud.

I'd go with having a shop fab it up for you. and yes it will be loud. not cutout loud but it will have plenty of "sound' to it.

Well I searched around looking for a decently quiet muffler and the magnaflow 4x9s popped up a good bit. Plus it is cheap.

Edelbrock's are a bit quieter, but probably cost you in HP.
