So my car is leaking oil, at first i thought it was the filter but i checked taht and its good, the highest point under the car that has oil drops on it is the shorter bolt that holds on the starter, which is a little above the pan so its confusing me a little, i dont think its the rear seal but i cant get a good look at it, any suggestions?

Sounds like a valve cover leak.
