Default New coolant level sensor problem

I have been checking all the threads on coolant level sensor problems and have not seen mine yet. My light is on all the time even when unplugged. There is voltage being sent to the sensor so I guess there is is a short in the wire returning to the PCM. Has anyone else had this problem if so could you tell me the location of the shorted wire or something else that could cause this. Thanks
