having problems with LS6 intake install, connecting egr tube to SLP's egr provision. 2000 ss

 

Try harder.

 

It will take some "bad words" to ge it to fit but it will Just keep making suttle changes and it will finally line up.

 

How do you make the subtle changes please explain more in depth thanks.

 

I am trying to picture your install and the problem lies with getting the EGR passage off the EGR valve to lining up with the EGR opening at the SLP opening for the EGR in the manifold right? Need a little help here, does SLP supply any tubing/fittings/etc. to help with the install?

 

Are you having trouble getting the fitting down into the top of the intake? Unbolt the whole egr setup from the front of the head, install the fitting into the intake and then reinstall the housing to the head, then to the manifold.
