Dr. Gas is supposed to be the best. Both of them cost about the same, so I'd go with the the proven one.

I have a Dr. Gas sitting in the garage. But I used a 3" Hedmann x pipe from Summit on my 02 Z and it looked identical to the Dr. Gas I have now.

so no conclusive evidence huh??? I figured there wouldn't be much difference since it's a small relatively simple piece of equipment.

I read somewhere you dont want an actual merging of the areas, as in the magnaflow tru-x. I dont know why though.

if you have ever looked at the inside of a dr. gas x pipe you can see a difference between them and others. the inside where the pipes merge is really awesome...the pipes are split perfectly and the edges come to a sharp point, there is no welding slag, etc...

you would have to look inside one to understand what im talking about...i can see why a dr. gas junction can be worth a few more ponies over a generic x pipe.
