TR belt tensioner

Thunder Racing belt tensioner I want to install my new TR belt tensioner but, I didnt get any install instructions. my question is how tight do you make the belt?? I heard you use a torque wrench to set the tension..

I emailed Thunder's tech dept. about this very issue and this was their suggestion:
"We normally just pull the tensioner until we get slightly less than 1/8" deflection from the belt. Try this and as long as it doesn't squeek under load you are good. If it squeeks, just put a little more torque on it."
