heat shield for plug wires?

I am replacing my plug wires with taylor spiro pro 8mm wires. Do I need some form of a heat shield like the ones on the stock wires or are they ok with my pacesetters?

I think they will be ok, as long as they don't actually touch the header. I have been running those same wires for over a year (maybe two...I forget). They have a really good heat rating. You just have to strategically place them so they will not touch the header, even when they jiggle with the engine moving.
