TSP Y pipe banging on trans Xmember After installing Pacesetter long tubes with a TSP 3" ORY I had some major banging issues. I installed the Mufflex bump stop and it has helped tremendously however I think the pipe is still banging on the transmission cross-member
My pipe is alot closer than the one in the picture.
I was thinking of putting the jack under the trans and removing the cross member to grind down the corner a little. Is it ok to do this, will I weaken the cross member if I grind too much off the corner ?

But if you cannot adjust it any longer, it shouldn't hurt to knotch it a little.
