Default Question about SLP headers

I have a friend just bought a 99 TA and it runs ok all has are the SLP long tube headers I beat him by about 2 car lengths but I read something bad about these one time but cant remeber what it was anyone have any input on these headers. He has a stick I thought he was going to beat me but he didnt. We just ran them at lunch. He used to have an SRT4 but he says he likes the rear wheel drive a lot better.

Maybe the "bad" thing you heard was: They hang down a little lower than most of the others. IF he just got it, maybe he can't drive it well yet. It's a 99, what year is yours?

Mine is a 98 TA I just got my pacesetter long tube headers in the mail but havent installed them. All I have are the other mods listed but I know headers give you a lot more power than any of the other mods I have thats why I thought he would beat me.
