what size barb adapter for tranny cooler
what size barb adapter for tranny cooler hey guys,,im re-installing my tranny cooler..im in the process of installing my new verter and i remeber that i had lost my barb adapter that screws in to the tranny cooler lines to the radiator port. The one that you screw into the radiator then slip your cooler hose over it and then over the old hard line to your tranny. i think its a 3/8" npt? cant remember ..i ask now so when i get ready to do it here in a couple hours i can just go nab one at the parts store along with some loctite for my converter bolts..

Interesting......I thought most just used two barbed fittings (threaded together) and plugged one end into where the stock rubber line clamps to the hard line, then ran lines from the new trans cooler to that..... It looked like a pretty sharp bend to use rubber line right off the radiator, then make the immediate turn down.
