Take the valve stem cap off the hard line by radiator, rap a rag around a screw driver and let all the freon out. The rag is for the oil that will come out. Next take off air lid and radiator shroud, diconect the ac lines and remove ac radiator. Then take out the dryer can next to battery, and disconect lines going in to the pass side firewall. next take off main belt to get ac belt off. I removed all idler pullies from block too. Then take out the ac compressor bolts and remove ac compressor and its bracket.

Yeah, it's very simple. Having a 3/8" swivel can help out too. If I remember right, the bottom connection on the condenser gave me a hard time. It's hard to get at the connection and the condenser won't come out with the hose still connected to it.
