Impossible?

Does anyone make a catback system that flows better than the stock system, and is NOT louder?

I want more flow, but not more noise...

Anyone know?

SLP dual/dual is your best bet for less noise and more flow.

The Hooker Cat-Back is the quietest system I've heard on a stock car. Its only slightly louder at WOT and sounds like stock at idle and on the highway. It's also a very good flowing system and is under $300.

The dual/dual is pretty quiet, I can't even hear mine and it's got headers, ory, and a decent sized cam.

Heard all three mentioned. Dual/Dual is the quietest out there IMO. I own the Hooker and a good friend of mine has the Magnaflow. D/D is the quietest.

Usually, if you have less restriction than stock, you will also have more noise. Any aftermarket muffler you buy will be at least a little louder than stock.

The hooker, magnaflow and D/D are some of the most quiet mufflers though.

the slp dual/dual vote here. i cant totally agree on the hooker. my friend had it on his LT1 when it was stock and it was loud, it kinda pinged since it was new. but i always thought it had a more aggressive sound to it.
