Default BEST ground clearance?

I have a QTP cut out y and it's literally 2 inches off the ground. My car isn't even lowered yet! It kept scraping and getting hung up and actually came off the header once. NLP spot welded it on to the headers but now im scared what is going to happen if it gets hung up. My QTP headers are amazing and im going to be pissed if those get damaged. My question here is what's the best for ground clearance? Does anyone have a QTP ORYP that can shine some light on this subject... I really like QTP but if something tucks better im going to have to go that route. I love the way it sounds with the cut outs open but not if it's going to damage my headers... I was contemplating true duals (blacktransam has an amazing set up) So I could keep the sound.
My main concern is ground clearance.

Damn dude. I have SLP Lt's and I'm about 2 fingers off the ground and I never ran into the problems you had. And on top of that I'm lowered with the Pro-kit. Is this happening even when you angle and go extremly slow going and leaving driveways? I never heard of anyone having clearance issues with QTP's setup.

No, the SLP's still have the worse clearance. His problem is mostly the Y-pipe/cutout.

thats the same problem SLP has, the y-pipe, as well, is what hangs so slow

The headers themselves don't tuck up very well themselves.

Isn't the QTP y-pipe the one that most people say to avoid? ie get the QTP's but somebody elses' Y-pipe?

Idon't know, my SLPs tuck in nicely. I've got nearly 4" of ground clearance (not lowered).

Yes, I've read, not seen, the same about QTP's Y-Pipe.

Really? 4" of ground clearance with the SLP headers? That's not bad...that's slightly higher than the lowest parts under my car. I'll have to go measure my Jet-Hots and see how much tehy can beat "nearly 4 inches" by..

The headers tuck VERY well.. it's the y-pipe that's causing issues. I heard the hooker Y tucks well but bangs alot... It would also need to be modified to fit the QTPs I believe.

My hooker Y tucks up really nice with my pacesetters. Yes it does rub and bang but I think that is unavoidable.

That doesn't sound as bad as everyone makes it seem on the SLP's. Still not the greatest though. I have close to 4 3/4" at the lowest point on my Jet-Hots, and they don't have Y-pipe problems.
