Default P0405 thrown with EGR deleted?!

Myself and (JRracing_24(another Indy local) both have LTs, ORY, and a tune that included deleting the AIR and EGR systems from the computer. A well known shop did mine while another did his. Both of us are throwing the P0405 code now. His comes on almost immediately and lights his SES. mine will throw ist but not show the SES light until my P1133 problem pops up. Then the light comes on with both codes.

What gives? why is it still showing up even with the EGR being deleted from the tune?

You need to go in there and disable the SES code. I just did mine with my HPTuner. You should have posted this in the Programming section. You might have to take the vehicles back.

not much traffic in there... i've posted about codes before with zero luck finding answers. Searched and 70% of the related finds were from External Engine. And as I said, both shops said they removed them from the computer, just like my AIR and rear o2s.

i agree with felton, they must of missed one. if they truely disabled the code then it would not set off the MIL light because the perameters to set the code have been turned off. best bet is have them go back and double check there tune or do it yourself with HPT

My car sets this code too and it is tuned no mil on my last tune. I went back in tho and noticed the enabler for the dtc was still on. I'll report back if thatcures it.
