Default 6.0 in an ss

just threw a rod out of stock motor...kinda disappointed...dont know why..but got a lead on a 6.0...would it be worth it in my f-body? and info on anything like this?

not particularly unless you plan on stroking it, or running some serious pounds of boost. the lq4/lq9 blocks are ~100lbs heavier then an ls1/ls6 block and really only offers minimal advantages. i'd just look for a used ls1 shortblock or just build up a new forged motor according to your budget and goals.

build an LS6. or....if this isnt a daily driver...wait and buy an ls7?!?!! maybe?
