Which brand electric cutout?

stay away form the qtec, mines has fallen apart on a number of occasions once i sent it back for repair, two others i had to do the work myself so i could keep cost down and avoid the time it takes for turnaround. The bigest design flaw I have found is that there are only two actual screws securing the motor to the gear casing. these will either strip or loosen up causing the motor to hang under the car by the wires.
I would go with the MPP2. Only cause its cheaper. I still have to install them onto the cut-outs.
Oh yeah, dont make a newbie mistake like i did. if you do plan on putting the switch in the ashtray, then drill it on the bottom part towards the front of it. I drilled one hole on the side before i actually knew it wasnt gonna fit, LOL

I second that. I was thinking about a QT. But after hearing the problems w/ QT, I think I'll try the DMH. The 4 year warranty is all I had to hear. Obviously, they are confident with their product.
