Possible coil pack problem

Possible coil pack problem I have developed a miss. Breaks up at 7,000+ rpms. It is sparatic but getting worse.
1. Battery OK
2. Spark plug wires OK
3. Valve train OK
4. Leakdown OK
5. Plugs OK (changed many times)
I am assuming I have a bad coil pack. I still have my original 1999 stock coil packs.
What do you think? My next move is swapping out my coils packs for the 2004 truck coil packs. Do these truck coil packs have an advantage? Hotter spark?
