My budddy bought himself a wrecked '02 SS Camaro w/ the 345 Hp package, U know, one of those honeys massaged by our good friends at SLP, and I have to be able to kick his *** before he gets it done. Anyway,I got a chance to ride in another one, and from what I've seen, the only differences are exhaust and camshaft, but I was wondering if a Loudmouth II system is "set your teeth on edge loud" like the Loudmouth I's, or if the SLP Powerflo exhaust would be a better bet. I'm sure I'll pay out the *** for what I want, (That Firehawk hood is EXPENSIVE) but I haven't ever seen anyone else that can compare for durability and sheer engineering. My goal is to kick her into the 12's with just some bolt-on stuff since she still has to be a daily driver, and the '97 blocks aren't a great idea for super high horsepower apps.

PS. For the very distant future, could I get an LS-7 to mate to my 4L60E? Or would the 80E be my only option? It'd be nice to have a '98 T/A with a C6 engine... drool...

By the way, she's a bone-stock '98 with an auto and 79K on the clock and runs like a raped ape. (For a production car, anyway)

you'll hit mid 12s w/ all the usual bolt-ons, a good verter, DRs, and some 3.42s or 3.73 easy as hell man! With a few minor bolt-ons, stock verter, DRs and 3.42s i hit 13.20s all day on my old 99Z A4
Havent heard the LM 2 before but im sure its toned down from the original LM
The power flo sould sound pretty good but IMHO, the Hooker cat-backs are a great sounding inexpensive exhaust. If ur not diehard SLP then id give that a look.
