Default 02 sensor

i put a pacesetter ORY on my car a month ago deleted the code with hp tuners, but now it keeps setting a code that says the 02 sensors slow to heat up. I called the parts store and they said the rear is the same as the front 02 sensor, is this true? If so ican use one of the rears instead of buying a new 02 sensor.

The sensors at most auto stores are the same front and back. GM makes them different only being the fronts have shorter wires. Mine flaged the same ****. I had to got to 02 rear corvette sensors. They have realy long wires, no need for the extentions, and they have higher wattage heaters in them. This will help to keep the O2's up to temp. I believe the part number for the sensors are 13111 Bosch. I found the box Just tell them you want that number Bosh Sensor, have them check to make sure they are for the rear on a 00 to 02 Vette. I might have the 02 year wrong but it will be one of those years. Use them, discared your extentions, and let me know if you had as good luck with them as I have had. They have been on my car for over 6 months now with no issues.

Good luck

so if i undestand you correctly they are the same 02 sensor besides the length of the wires, if this is true i will just buy the extensions being as that they are far cheaper than a new 02 sensor.

yes. Only difference is the length of wires. If you still have your oem o2's you should see they all have the same p/n stamped in them. Problem is since they are all the same I wouldn't think putting the 2 from the rear in will help. Sounds like you might need the vette o2's.

The vette sensors will most likely fix the problem. If they don't, then the OEM ones definatly wont.
