Loudmouth sounds like crap Hey guys I wanted to get some feedback on anyone who has swapped their loudmouth resonator with a different muffler. With my LTs while im driving around 2500rpm my exhaust backfires and sounds like a machine gun and is kind of embarassing. looking for a different muffler, I've listened to Ls1sounds but most of them are at idle. Any information (noise level, backfiring, how well it flows, ect.) from anyone who has done this would be very helpful.

A guy here in Columbus had the same problem - he put a bullet muffler in the I-pipe and is very happy with the change. Sounds good from the outside - I heard it in person last weekend.
