Exhaust cut out questions
Exhaust cut out questions I got a chance to buy a good quality exhaust cut-out for 150 bucks (electric)
only problem is its a 3inch cut out.. think if I had a good exhaust shop they could get around this?
what are the average gains from a cutout? I've heard from a tenth to a 2mph..
at idle would it sound like a 6cylinder on a mostly stock car.. just a lid?

3" is good, and I can say it DEFINATELY won't sound like a 6 cylinder. 
I had my cutout on for about 3 weeks before I put on my headers and ORY. It sounded great. Trust me, you'll be happy with the sound. It'll drone around 2krpm, but if you just crack the windows youll be fine. Dosen't drone nearly as bad with headers and ORY, though. And I love my electric cutout. Pick that thing up!
