Default exhaust sounds goofy

i have ture dual exhaust all the way out the back 2.5 with resonators, and it crackles and sound bad imo. The only time it gets a really good tone is like above 3000 rpms. What can i do to get a nice smooth flowing sound

Make sure you have no exhaust leaks anywhere from the header to the back. Also you are basicly running straight pipes so you are gonna hear evry little noise that goes on in the exhaust. Tuning may help too but may be overkill unless your car is running bad.

its straight back so there is no H or X pipe, could that be the problem? If i put some mufflers on what ones should i go with that are high flow, noise but has a good tone.

That's your problem. You don't have have an x or h to equalize things out. It will sound like *** until you get a crossover.

Straight pipes sound like ****.

well since you already have the pipes run side by side the easiest thing to do would be put an H crossover on it ... a good muffler shop should be able to do that

the mufflers arent gona clean anything up. Your still gona have that un refined raw sound thing going on. Do either a simple crossover pipe, or an X pipe and all your problems will be solved.
