exhaust opinion
exhaust opinion i'm getting an electric cutout here pretty soon, and was wondering where you guys would suggest placing it in order to get the best sound possible. I know there's a good spot right before the rear axel under the back seat, but how would it sound if i put it closer to the front? is it possible to put it before the cat? If so, i would think that would be more HP gain since its bypassing the cat, and I would suspect it'd be louder? Any opinions/advice would be appreciated. thanks
Don't put it before the cat, otherwise you will run into problems. The spot near the rear seat is a nice roomy spot to put it, but personally I like it further back, just before the pipe goes over the axle. If you put it near the back seat at the spot that looks like it was made for it, you will get even more resonance. It's kind of boxed in there and gives the sound a place to resonate. I would put it back a little further and angle it out halfway between the ground and the side of your car.

Stick it where it shoud go- in the niche behind the seat. The niche asks for the cutout. Make the niche happy.
