weird A/C !!

weird A/C !! hey guyz,
i dunno what exactly is wrong with my car, but ever since i change the underdrive pulley to one of ASP's i have noticed the AC acting a bit weird!
whenevr i cruise over 60mph with the AC on, it just stops blowing cold air for a while and then it resumes at maybe 80 ..... between that is only warm air!
and if the AC is off, same case ... but the other way around! it blows cold air for no reason!
any ideas of whats causing this??
oh and i drive a Chevy Lumina SS .... similar to the new Pontiac GTO

It sounds like there is a short in the wire that signals the AC compressor clutch. Check for a single (probably yellow) wire on top of the AC compressor wheel. Make sure it didn't get knocked loose or cut during the pulley install.
